Join us as we go back in time! Union and Confederate forces will be deciding the fate of East Tennessee at the home of Confederate Senator Landon Carter Haynes. Come watch to see which side triumphs over the other. Then take an exciting tour of the house and explore the historic grounds. The battle Starts at 2:00pm each day. Admission is $5 for adults and $2.50 for children twelve and under.

Join us for the 3rd annual Huckleberry Jam, part of the 2017 RunAbout Race Series. The Jam is a 7.4 mile point-to-point race beginning at RunAbout Sports in Blacksburg, utilizing the entire length of the eponymous rail trail and finishing at the Christiansburg Rec Center. Shuttles will be available to transport runners back to RunAbout Sports upon completion. Upper East Tennessee has long been a land of deep musical traditions. Englishman Cecil Sharp knew this in 1916 when he selected Rocky Fork in Unicoi County as his first stop to collect ballads. And in 1925 the famous Mountain City Fiddler s Convention attracted a who s who of southern Appalachian fiddling, and reminds us just how varied and unique this regions music is. The gateway mountain counties of Unicoi, Carter, and Johnson give way to the great Tennessee Valley to the north and west, and to the upper reaches of the western North Carolina mountains to the south and east the story of the music here is one about the movement of people, both in and out of these highlands. The Upper East Tennessee Fiddler s Convention is proud to invite you to come experience the music of our region. The Mountain States Foundation and Consumer Credit Union, along with youth from our region and performers from Tony Award-winning Broadway shows, proudly present the 6th Broadway Comes to Greeneville. Join us for an evening of song and dance while helping to raise awareness for Niswonger Children s Hospital. The young people performing in the show were chosen from a series of auditions throughout Northeast Tennesee and Southwest Virginia, the very same communities we serve at Niswonger Children s Hospital. Orchestra: $35 Mezzanine: $30 Balcony: $25 Ticket Fee: $1.50 per ticket. No processing or delivery fees This performance is not included in season ticket packages.
