FC Dallas TRI invites you to participate in the Overmountain Cup located in Johnson City, TN on May 13-14, 2017. Apply now and come join us for some competitive soccer, a great atmosphere and a beautiful time of the year here in Northeast TN. - The Overmountain Cup is for Premier Select Travel Competitive Teams. Recreational teams are not accepted - Games to be held at Civitan Park, Winged Deer Park, and East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN - Traveling Teams is the Official Hotel Provider for the 2017 Overmountain Cup - Sanctioned by Tennessee State Soccer Association (TSSA) - All teams must be properly registered with their USYSA, US Club or USSF affiliated state organizations - Three (3) guest players are allowed, (1 guest player for U8) Registration is available ONLINE ONLY. Register today by clicking the Apply button above. Once you complete your registration, you will receive confirmation that your application has been received. Featuring soaring guitar and pedal steel over a heavy groove, Marvelous Funkshun blends Funk, Southern Rock, Blues, Sacred Steel, Hip Hop and R&B. The band has toured heavily throughout the Southeast for 2014 and 2015 and they have solidified a unique sound and supportive fan base from North Carolina to Florida. The live shows are a dynamic, foot-stomping get down and The Funkshun , as fans have been known to call them, have shared the stage with many of the top names in the jam scene such as The Lee Boys, Pimps of Joytime, Nth Power, Dopapod, Tauk, The Werks, Big Something and Eric Gales. Highlights of 2015 include sold out shows in Savannah for St. Patrick s Day at Barrelhouse South, the Whiskey in Wilmington with Kofi Burbridge guesting on flute, High Rock Outfitters in Lexington, NC, an opening set for Snoop Dogg and a charity concert hosted by the band and Todd Nance and friends (members of Widespread Panic, Drive By Truckers and Bloodkin) that raised over $1200 for Cancer Services, a local charity organization in Winston-Salem.
