Join Senior Services on the first and third Friday of each month to dance the night away to live music. Next up is The Shooter Band on Friday, July 7 from 7-10 p.m. Cost is $5 with a Silver Sneakers discount for eligible participants.

2. KAS Summer Day Camp Week 4

Join us for week 4 of KAS Day Camp! Every day kids will complete a craft, participate in one of the daily kids classes, have outside play time, eat packed lunch, and swim!! Kids will stay active and have lots of fun! Cost is $100 for members for 1 child and $80 for each additional sibling. Cost is $120 for non-members for 1 child and $100 for each additional sibling. Spots are starting to fill up, so sign up soon! A $25 non-refundable deposit per child is due at the time of sign up.

Abingdon, VA
The Community Center of Abingdon will host evening contra dances throughout the summer. A live caller and band will be on hand for added fun. All ages and levels are welcome. Dances will be held from 7-10pm on Saturday May 13, June 10 and 24, July 8, August 12 and 26. A free beginners lesson will take place at 6:30 on respective dates. Tickets $7, $5 for students and $20 for families of all sizes. Snacks will be available for purchase. Come as you are wear soft flexible shoes for dancing. Come to dance or just to listen and watch. No partner is necessary. All dances are taught. This dance is smoke and alcohol free. ANYONE CAN JOIN! In celebration of fun fest, Join us to paint some super fun balloons landing during the sunset. Cost is only $15 for Eastman Employees and friends. As always we will provide the 16x20 canvas, paint, brushes, aprons, wire, ribbon, and, of course, excellent instruction!

Prizes will also include Gypsy Circus pints and more! Enjoy a special glass rim of the night to spruce up your cider! Flavor of the Night: TBA La Abejita Food Truck is back to provide for all the Bingo hunger needs! GAME PLAY: - Games start at 6:00 pm and continue until 8:00 or prizes run out for the night. - The number caller will decide on the game style at the beginning of each round (i.e. Classic, Blackout, Four Corners... etc.) and name the prize being played for at that time. - Participants may play as many cards as they wish. Each participant recieves one free card picked up at the bar. Additional cards are $1 each. - Participants will be provided with reusable cards and Bingo chips. Please do not mark on reusable cards.

On Thursday, July 6th, William King Museum of Art hosts its 3rd annual Big Messy, First Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. Enjoy a paint slide, popsicles, balloons and a local D.J. Goodson Kinderhook Volunteer Fire Department will provide a foam pit. Come spend an evening on the Museum s front lawn while enjoying the long days of summer.Last year s festivities were well attended with a crowd of over 400. Admission is free for all to enjoy.
