This will be a make and take class. You will make an edible chocolate heart box and chocolate conversation hearts. All supplies will be provided. Cost is $15 cash. February 25 and 26 class starts at 2:00- Come and learn the basics of why and how we barefoot trim. Learn hoof and limb conformation, abnormalities, pathologies, technique, booting, and more! Recommended items: hoof pick, hoof knife, and hoof rasp. (or just come and watch!) Cost is $30 per class or $50 for the weekend. If you have a problem horse for us to work on, contact me in advance. We can do the whole thing in the barn if the weather is bad.

On February 11, 2017, the VFW Post 1994 will conduct a Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser at the Southwest Virginia 4-H Center, 25236 Hillman Highway, Abingdon, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The fundraiser will support our high school student scholarship program, which provides $3,000.00 in scholarships annually to deserving seniors. Tickets are $10.00.
