2. Teamkid Kick-off

On Wednesday March 1st we will be starting a new program called TeamKID (Kid s In Discipleship). TeamKID is a fun, high energy ministry that encourages kids to know Jesus Christ and to grow in a relationship with Him. All parts of TeamKID- Bible stories, Scripture memory, life application, mission, and recreation- connect to teach life lessons to kids. TeamKID helps students through a study of God s Word. Using fun activities and Bible material. Children can apply the Bible verses they learn to know how God wants them to live. A missions feature every week will open their eyes to the need of people around the world to hear about Jesus. TeamKID will take place each Wednesday at 7pm and will be located in our church fellowship hall (big white building behind main church). TeamKID is open to ALL kid s 2 s-5th Grade. If you have any questions please contact Brandon @ 423-817-5951 or Courtney @ 276-207-0649. The church is located at 310 W. Carter s Valley Road in Kingsport. We will be having a Kick-Off event on Wednesday February 22nd at 7pm. This will be a time to go over information about the class, a time to register students and time of games and refreshments. This event is open to students and their parents guardians. We hope that you will come join us as we grow in Jesus Word.

At Franklin Woods Community Hospital, we know there s a growing need for education on the importance of early colon screening, which can save lives. March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month and in an effort to bring awareness to colon health, we re hosting our first ever Run For Your Buns 5K. We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to come join us and learn more about how easy it is to have a colonoscopy. And while you re here, we d like to encourage you to visit our free health fair. We ve invited local health ambassadors to come and provide information about the best diets for your colon and education on probiotics. Please join us as we run, walk or stroll our way to a healthier colon! Each runner will receive a runner s bib, boxers and a finisher s medal. If you are unable to join us, we do offer a virtual run option. Please register early. We will be ordering our boxers by Feb. 21 and we don t want to leave anyone out.
