The Highlands Ballet Company
The story of Aladdin is a tale that has more depth than might appear on the surface. Essentially it's a love story, about the charms of love over power. And because she is a princess and he is a street boy, it is the triumph of love over class as well as over the power of the lamp, money, jewelry. The inspiration of the story is that two youngsters find something much more precious.
