No past clay experience required! I work with all experience levels to help you get the most out of my classes as you can! This is a 4-week class, meeting once a week on Thursdays, 5:30pm-8:30pm. We will make 3 projects: One fun, playful creation and two functional itmes for your kitchen or home. The first 3 classes we will be handbuilding and the last class we will glazing your creations. Limit to 6 in each class. A $20 deposit holds your spot. Deposit due no later than March 28th. Kids 10 may take the class with a parent. Location: ArtCurious Gallery, 2362 Boones Creek Rd. Or, if we have an overflow, you may choose a different night for your group.

Jump around! Jump up, jump up and get down! Jump! Jump Around, House of Pain Put a little bounce in your step - or run - as you join us for the first inflatable 5k in this area! Run, walk, bounce, and slide your way through 3.1 miles of inflatable obstacle fun! All procedes benefit March of Dimes! Pre-registred participants are guarenteed a t-shirt! This is all about the fun - not the run - so run will not be timed! All finishers will receive finisher swag! Kids 4 years and up will need to be registered to run and will receive a shirt kids 3 and under do not need to register, but will not receive a shirt. Due to this being an obstacle course run, there are no strollers permitted on the course Absolutely NO trail shoes, turf shoes, cleats, steel toe shoes, or any other shoes that could puncture the inflatables! Packet pick-up and race day registration opens at 3:00. Run begins at 4:30! Vendors will be set up in the main building and open to the public. Vendor mall will open at 3:00.

5. Athletic Banquet

Our Athletic banquet is April 8th 2017 the fun begins at 4pm. From 4 to 6pm the kids will be able to jump and play at 6pm dinner will be served and trophies will follow after dinner. The cost is $5 per adult and $2 for children that did not participate in the sports program. If you have not already purchased your ticket for the dinner you can do that in advance we will have one last uniform turn in on April 6th from 6 to 8pm also you can purchase your tickets for diner that night. We will be in the gym after after the music performance. Come out and support Emmett basketball players and cheerleaders. Your child s uniform has to be turned in for your child to receive his or her trophy. Thank you all for a great year.

Upper East Tennessee has long been a land of deep musical traditions. Englishman Cecil Sharp knew this in 1916 when he selected Rocky Fork in Unicoi County as his first stop to collect ballads. And in 1925 the famous Mountain City Fiddler s Convention attracted a who s who of southern Appalachian fiddling, and reminds us just how varied and unique this regions music is. The gateway mountain counties of Unicoi, Carter, and Johnson give way to the great Tennessee Valley to the north and west, and to the upper reaches of the western North Carolina mountains to the south and east the story of the music here is one about the movement of people, both in and out of these highlands. The Upper East Tennessee Fiddler s Convention is proud to invite you to come experience the music of our region.
