1. Kingsport Night Owl Circus Arts Grand Opening

Night Owl Circus Arts (previously known as Johnson City Circus Arts) is opening a second location in Kingsport! Our new space will be a shared space with Flight Athletic Academy, which is a new gymnastics gym coming to downtown Kingsport. We ll be teaching 10-minute free preview aerial silks classes every 30 minutes from 4-8 PM! These free classes are open to ages 14 . All class credits and packages will be for sale at a discount during this event! As part of our expansion, we re also rebranding! Johnson City Circus Arts is now Night Owl Circus Arts! For our current int adv Johnson City students: You too can take advantage of the discounts during this event! You re also welcome to get on the silks a little in between the preview classes, get a little open gym time, and show off a little! Discounted class prices, only for credits bought AT this event: $8 for your first class $60 for a package of 4 (normally $65) $110 for a package of 8 (normally $120) $180 for a package of 16 (normally $200) Kingsport classes may actually start a few weeks before the grand opening. We re aiming to start our first classes on February 13th. Keep an eye on the Facebook page or website for updates.

3. Maple Syrup Making With Pancake Breakfast

Help gather sap flowing from our trees and watch it being boiled down to sweet maple syrup. Pancake breakfast begins at 8:00 through 10:30. Maple Syrup will be cooked down all day, so come on out and join us at any time! Admission will be $5 for adults and $2.50 for children twelve and under. Breakfast is $1.00 extra.

The Johnson City Area HBA will present the 48th Annual Home and Garden Show February 17 - 19, 2017 and we are pleased to be returning to the Mountain States Health Alliance Athletic Center (Mini Dome) on East Tennessee State University campus.. The Annual Home & Garden Show is the place for you to find what s new in building, remodeling, landscaping and most anything related to your home and garden. Need information about a new loan or refinance? Looking to update the kitchen cabinets or do something new with the master bathroom? Want the opportunity to speak with landscape architects about that area in your yard? You ll find the resources to answer your questions all in one place. Make sure to bring the kids to experience the Kid s Zone where children will be encouraged to experience a workshop area created just for them and will have the opportunity to build, decorate, create and learn in a kid-friendly environment. Show hours: Friday, February 17, 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 19, 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Tickets for this event will be General Admission and will be available on the days of the show or in advance through EventBrite.
