Concordia Lutheran Church Missouri Synod
Who are the heroes of the Reformation? In this free presentation, Dr. Martin Dotterweich, professor of history at King University, Bristol, Tennessee, will focus on the importance of well-known individuals like Martin Luther, Huldrych Zwingli, and Thomas Cranmer. The lecture will examine how these different types of person contributed to the movement; the importance of martyrs and their stories; and will celebrate the heroism of ordinary believers who through their devotion and fidelity cemented the Reformation in homes and villages. A Q&A session and reception will follow the presentation.
