A love offering will be taken for the Hawkins County Foster Parent s and Foster Children s Association. This years lineup will feature The Carolina Boys Quartet and The Primitive Quartet. Who are the heroes of the Reformation? In this free presentation, Dr. Martin Dotterweich, professor of history at King University, Bristol, Tennessee, will focus on the importance of well-known individuals like Martin Luther, Huldrych Zwingli, and Thomas Cranmer. The lecture will examine how these different types of person contributed to the movement the importance of martyrs and their stories and will celebrate the heroism of ordinary believers who through their devotion and fidelity cemented the Reformation in homes and villages. A Q&A session and reception will follow the presentation.

The granddaddy of all cult movies comes to The Capitol! For One Night Only The Rocky Horror Picture Show --the longest running theatrical film of all time--will play at Greeneville s historic Capitol Theatre! Based on Richard O Brien s stage musical The Rocky Horror Show the film, which flopped upon its original release, has since become the biggest midnight movie in history. Joining The National Film Registry in 2005 for being culturally significant. A Halloween tradition, The Capitol is proud to bring this cult classic to our screen for the very first time. General Admission Tickets Admission with Prop Bags: $15.00 Movie Admission (No Prop Bags): $10.00 Doors open @8:00 PM night of the show. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is rated R, 17 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to attend. Parents are also advised that some of the audience participation call backs feature strong language. House Rules: The Capitol is a historic venue, and as such all outside props will not be allowed. However, in keeping with the spirit of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, we will be offering prop bags for a nominal fee. We must ask that you respect this special, rare space and refrain from throwing anything towards the screen or equipment. Costumes are welcomed keeping in style with those in the film, we also suggest you wear a coat over your costume while crossing the streets getting to the theatre. All of this is in place so we can keep having events like Rocky Horror at The Capitol, and so you can have a good time as well. We re honored to be the first theater in Greeneville to show this legendary film, and are looking forward to you joining us on the 20th!
